My life is just never dull. Even the bad parts, the worst ones are far more interesting, reflective and life changing than most peoples daily lives. At the age of 34 I think I'm finally learning to just enjoy the wild ride ride and let it take Me where it will.

Last I left you dear readers Wendy Michelle was just about to move away to Colorado...and move she did. But not before one epic night of partying at Anthony's Gentlmen's club at the going away party I threw for her.

SO, party was wild. My crew came out, Wendy's crew came out, fans came out friends, fam, lovers. Lots of My favorite folks all at one strip joint! I couldn't have been happier!

The day before I'd been in Boston for a session, and ended up having a super banging dinner by Myself and hot tubbing it up an swimming in the pool while no one was around. Obviously I took some nudes. Duh. I had big plans to shoot some video in the hotel room but then I went into a food and law and order and hotel bed coma and that was that.

I drove back to springfield MA the next day and had a bangin lunch with a dear friend and then made My way over to Anthony's for Wendy's party. Back to the party. My point was I guess the day before was excellent leading up to an excellent day after a lovely drive in the sunshine with old skool hip hop jams on cassette and then an awesome meal and THEN: this crazy fun party.

But I didn't really give a fuck cuz we were having so much fun! Smiles all around.

I had plans to be super productive with shooting this summer but we got cut short. SO, she stayed an extra day...and we got to shoot something for My clips4sale store that I'd wanted to shoot ever since christmas when I gave Wendy her onsie. Yah, I gave Wendy a onsie. It was wrong in all the right ways. Fit her so snug...too snug. So I shot a video of her eating dino mac and cheese in (and out of her onsie) and coloring in jesus coloring books while in the slave closet. And also I ate mac and cheese off her boobs. And also I love My life.

Weird right? Coming from Me, the most cynical bitch ever. But My life has been pretty rich and full even when I'm down. Filled with travel and great food and great sex and attractive interesting intelligent people and sex work and money and beautiful women every day and a particular brown eyed boy with dimples and the cutest chihuahuas in the world and lazy days spent soaking up the sun at the river and exploring the berkshire mountains. YO! This I what life is all about! It's really nice to have so many “I love western MA” moments after spending such a long winter of sadness and hating this place. Having so much space and being able to spread out and have a proper writing space helps so much too. It's been a lot of work but it's paying off and feels good. The view from the dungeon window at twilight right now is realllllly gorgeous.

So yah, I get to shoot weird porn with cool chicks I have a genuine connection with and it's a super positive experience I'll miss and it makes Me love My life.

Aside from all the sex work. Oh shit. I did that thing where I waited too long to blog and now like ten thousand things have happened and I'm trying to make a list to keep it all straight so I can blog about it but it's a lot easier said than done. Because ALOT of stuff has happened

Man, it feels like since Wendy said she was moving just shit keeps happening and there's no stopping it. I had hoped My life would have some rhythm this summer, some schedule, some sort of normalcy. But you know, there's no hope for that so I'm just gonna go ahead and embrace the chaos.

SO: work has been continuous on My studio space. I have an office now! I am blogging from it right now. Im actually blogging LIVE on cam right now from My office too but thats a story for later in the blog ok?

SO let's see. Big stuff happened here Like, I got a divorce. I mean, I was divorced in My heart long ago but the government didn't quite see it that way so after a lot of stress a lot of wheelin and dealin and court appearances and official paperwork and talking to way more lawyers than anyone should have to talk to in their life: I am officially divorced.

It feels like a huge weight lifted from My shoulders and the end to an ugly legal shitstorm that went on for way too long. SO, Bella can breathe again. I already feel lighter.

Some of My friends know how much I have been looking forward to this day so long that they decided to come and help Me celebrate, just so happened there was a carnival in town. It's like the stars aligned for Me and everything, we ALL know how much I love carnivals don't we?

So My best friend Emrys came out, and burlesque starlet Morgan Fey came with Me to show some support. We did NOT have a repeat of last year, where we went to the carnival together and photographer Chris Addams forgot his camera. Photographer Brandon Stack was in the house and he actually took some really adorable photos of us together.

I of course forced everyone to go into the fun house. They had weird paintings of weird clowns on the outside and it was so creepy, I wish I could have shot porn in there.

BUT Brandon took some pretty pictures of us outside the fun house.

Things were on the upswing and life was pretty sweet. All sorts of exciting shit upcoming. But then you know the universe took a turn for the worst.

After working at Anthony's gentlemens club and coming home on a backroad country road with no breakdown lane, no streetlights and no cell reception, no gas station for an hour in either direction.....yah guess what. My car decided to break down. At 2 am. Perfect time for being stranded on the side of the road without a phone. JUST PERFECT!

Some guy who was super weird stopped and called the cops for Me. And what a surprise, the cop was sorta a dick! So middle of the night dealing with cops, not a great situation to be in. The tow to My house cost Me all the money I had made at the club that night.

And now I have no car.

I won't even go into the insane drama of the fucking tow truck guy who lied and overcharged Me or the garage guy who let My car sit for almost a week without even looking at it and then tried to charge Me storage fees...I wont go into those awful stories

I wont tell you how much MORE it cost to get it towed to the junkyard and how the money I got for it didn't even cover the tows.

Its been a sad, sad, heartbreakind day.

As I've been mostly working at the club I now have no way to get to work, so I've been super duper broke ass.

My little chihuahua, Olive, who is like My fur baby, chihuahua child, light of My life and I am utterly obsessed with loving her.

Well, teeny tiny not even 7 pound Olive got attacked by the neighbors pitbull.

It jumped the fence into the backyard trampled My garden and attacked My little dog. She was screaming like a fucking human child and My other chihuahua Rosa was trying to attack the bigger dog and save her. Then the pit had her whole little tiny body in it's mouth doing the death shake. I thought My baby was dead. I punched the dog in the face, kicked it in the ribs managed to get it off Olive and scoop her up then it came after Me as she was in My arms. The whole time I was screaming bloody murder Olive is screeching and the neighbor behind Me is hollering. She ended up calling the cops because she thought I got really hurt when I ran away with both dogs. I mean, the whole thing took about a minute but was probably the scariest minute of My life. Olive somehow got away unscathed. My car was in the shop so I had no way to get her to the emergency vet. Luckily My best friend saved the day and took us.

The neighbors who saw the whole thing called the cops so:

After fights with the neighbors, they were still fucking screaming at me as I carried My wounded little pup away. Holy shit. WOOOOOSA in full effect!

So: Olive is on the mend now, shes off pain meds and was barking at the plumber so I think all is well in her little chihuahua world. She would of course love some get well and glad you are alive doggie gifts tho

As like, convincing other strippers to drive us and schlepping shit into one vehicle and then to the club then another vehicle to stay at someones house because we wanted to dance for the weekend but had no car

so, yah

We made it, late to our own party, full rockstar status.

Had My peoples with Me, Sacha Thumper and her crew running the merch table. Photographer Brandon Stack was in the house to document the whole thing.

Burlesque Starlet Morgan Fey was also in the house so of course Brandon took some lovely pics of her.

I wasn't really in front of the camera too much this party. I was running around, since I was late like ten million thins were happening and people who needed stuff and customers who needed attention and stuff. BUT I managed to get it set up so Brandon could take some photos of some super lovely ladies.

Here is a beautiful young lady named Loni. Be excited because I want to shoot so many more pictures of this beauty, she is so pretty and I want a lapdance from her.

And then I had him take photos of McKinley, a dancer there. She has an awesome ass and I've been wanting to take pictures of her since I saw her. So Brandon hooked it up! He took some lovely photos of her.

So then I had to figure out a ride back home and schlep My stuff into another car and onto a sidewalk to wait for another ride and then into another car and then up three flights of stairs to the studio. Is there anything better? Not really...MAYBE Slayer on cassette but thats about it. Well, as you read in My earlier blogs, My car died. My car had a sun roof and a cassette deck and I would blast around and blare Nirvana on cassette and let My hair whip out the sunroof.

I got a new truck, which I sort of love cuz it's big and burly and will be awesome in the winter and it makes Me wanna go mudding and run stuff over.

I hadn't really danced in SO long, only a few times a year or when I had an event or was featuring...until Wendy came along. She sort of renewed My love for it. We had a lot of fun too. We hustled together and twerked together and hated life together and loved life together.

Since she's been gone I tried to keep the momentum up but it just hasn't been the same.

Like, The weekend will come on and Ill look around for Wendy and she's not there, the fucking hour and a half drive home sucks too. Especially at night when Im exhausted and theres no one to make Me laugh.

I still love it, but I think I need to stagger it a bit more so I can keep loving it. After all the stress with the car and trying to get money together I was reminded of how difficult it is to be a dancer and thats your only job. So unpredictable. So stressful. Its a huge toll on your body

Theres an ever changing host of bartenders but the good news is theyre all hott and all fun.

The DJ on sundays is really cool. Like, quickly becoming My fave. I got to dance to portishead and Nirvana and NWA all in the same day this week so come show some fucking love to the guy!

I do much prefer the day shift, less insanity...less drama...less drugs.

The crew of chicks that works day shift are all pretty cool, a super wide variety of body types which makes Me feel happy. Curvy bitches, older women, barely legal teeny tinies, black ladies brown ladies, short hair tattoos dreadlocks. Like seriously.

I really hate when clubs get on these kicks about only allowing a certain body type or a certain look or a certain skin color at their clubs. So Centerstage wins in that aspect for Me.

I did really bad and felt bad about Myself and didn't have fun and got ice thrown at Me and it was NOT MY night.

BUT GODDAMN, they blow it out the fucking box! I would LOVE to witness that shit as a customer. All the big booty girls, people makin it rain and a BOSS DJ. I applaud them for actually doing events and keeping it fresh over there. It's nice to be on the team right now.

Ok, this must be some kind of record for Me. I haven't written a blog in FOREVER! I've wanted to, but the Universe has been telling Me it wasn't time so I held off for a while. In case you don't know what the freedom rally is all about, it's put on by MASSCANN and aims to educate folks about medical marijuana and the legalization of cannabis. So: shortly after My Boston trip I took off to California. I had some family business to attend to and it was all really incredibly stressful and intense. I wanted to chill hard and go to the beach and see all My friends and maybe shoot and do some sessions. BUT you know. It didn't turn out that way at all. I spent most of My time at the hospital with My grandmother, and barely had two hours to Myself. I DID manage to see a few friends. My dearly beloved: Misti Dawn AND My friend Charlie Sheena. I sort of really treasure getting to hang out with porn people who don't do porn anymore but still have some connection with Me, and it's nice to know not all friendships were so baseless that as soon as the adult industry was out of the picture, we all lost touch. SO, THAT was really cool. We ate a lot of sushi and smoked a lot of good Cali weed and watched a lot of American Horror Story. It was really needed and helpful in a super stressful time. We also didn't take ONE picture together. Fail, sorry.

I also got to re connect with an old high school punk rock friend of Mine, who now lives in LA and manages The Used.....SO Misti and I got to go and check out The Used UNPLUGGED! Dude, it was so awesome.We got to go back stage and say whats up. I felt sort of like an asshole, because I was just so excited to see Misti and we hadn't seen each other in SO long so we just talked and talked and were totally into each other and sorta ignored everything and everyone around us. But...The Used...SO GOOD! My 15 year old self was freaking the fuck out. So many memories with those albums...

So, Los Angeles trip felt like forever but wasn't even long enough and I WILL be going back, and hopefully things are a bit more calmed down and I can actually do some work as well on the next trip. I have to say tho, I like this theme in My life of traveling and NOT working, it's a new concept for Me. I generally book all of My trips around paying gigs. It's quite freeing to not have to pack ten thousand bags, heels, toys, camera equipment and such.

SO, I hit the ground running right when I came back. Had a shitty early am flight, no sleep. Got home barely got sleep had to go to NJ and back right away that ate up two days. Had car troubles that ate up a day.....ALL I wanted was to A) go to the club and make some $ and try to recover financially from taking so much unpaid time off. And B) to get some mega computer work done and cam.

Well, car troubles fucked up the club plan...I had no way of getting there! I kept making plans...ok TOMORROW I'll dance, then something else would happen with the car, I borrow a car and THAT one has had issues too...It's fucking never ending automotive drama here!

Then we had this big insane crazy storm. I really LOVE living in the mountains, but the downside is that you are truly on mother natures schedule. Crazy mountain storms, flash floods, power goes out. Aint nobody getting computer work done. Cell towers have been down lately, internet is in and out....It's really frustrating. I actually WANT to work and sit in front of My computer for days, and I can't even do it! It appears the internet is working everywhere EXCEPT My office right now, so as I write this, I'm sitting on My couch...the exact opposite of what I was trying to accomplish by setting up an entire office in the first place.

ANYHOW: Getting it done aren't I!

Some cool stuff happened right when I got back. I was greeted with many, many packages sent from fans, devotees and friends trying t cheer Me up cuz was going through such a hard time. Coming home to so many gifts was awesome! New books new music new clothes!

It hit Me super hard because it's the first relationship I've been in since My divorce. I was single for many many years. After an abusive and traumatic marriage it took a lot for Me to trust again. I actually didn't think I ever would get close to someone again. So it hurts a lot, having taken the chance and had it thrown back in My face.

(I don't even wanna talk about christmas because it was hands down the worst and most depressing christmas of My entire life.)

But you know, it's nice to know My heart isn't completely black and dead and that I am indeed capable of love, and as I'm starting to figure out, I'm even capable of forgiveness. It's sort of been empowering, but damn what a nightmare to get here.

I happen to have a lot of experience with fucked up people who are really close to Me doing fucked up things. And realizing that all sorts of people are capable of awful shit. But that doesn't always mean you have to hold hatred in your heart for them. They are human people, who fucked up. And it's ok to have complicated emotions about that.

So, in the midst of all the bullshit I also got realllly super sick with the dreaded flu. No wonder, the stress and not taking care of Myself I got sick. Like really sick, like out of work for three weeks sick. Both of these situations were brutal reminders of how difficult it can be to deal with mundane things as a sex worker. Like breakups and being sick becomes harder.

Like, dating as a sex worker isn't like dating  a civilian.  Its different in so many ways.. It becomes even harder to find someone you have an actual connection with and who doesn't just think that fucking a pornstar is a cool thing to brag about later. I think this is something all sex workers can relate to: But sometimes guys THINK it's really cool that you're a sex worker and so open and honest and then it becomes the exact thing they hate about you. Jealousy, mistrust, and the need to sling the occasional insult about how you're a sex worker. It hurts a lot when you think you've found someone who gets it, who sees your work as legitimate, and then they get drunk and tell you you're just a talentless whore.....use the fact that you do sex work against you in fights.

you know?

If you're a sex worker and you are with someone you can't discuss your sex work with, I don't think it's a relationship that can work. No matter what the connection and passion that may be there, on a core level you cannot see eye to eye.

And being a sex worker and being sick...means no work, means no money. My success depends on My body, so when it fails Me it affects everything. There's no paid sick leave and I have no health insurance. I also had no one to take care of Me so lots of time was spent on the couch crying, watching Nashville and ordering wonton soup. Thankfully I had Doctor Bean and Nurse Rosa (My chihuahuas) on caretaker duty.

ALSO: During this time My good friend and mentor Brutal Master of www.BrutalMaster.com came into town and we had so many awesome outings and dinners and shoots planned. And instead he made Me some awesome italian food while I sniffled and coughed. It was nice to just hang out and NOT work tho, lots of time sex worker friends don't really get to do that because when you happen to be in the same place at the same time theres all this pressure to shoot and work together.

But, I don't wanna make this post about My weird personal life. Ok? Cuz there's actually a lot of GREAT stuff going on and I'd like to at least TRY to remain positive and enjoy the success that I'm experiencing lately. I have worked My ass off for so many years in this industry and it's really nice to have it pay off. To get booked for the events I want, shoots I want and have it recognized.

I've also come over to the darkside. Working nights now! Nightshift is a totally different beast than day shift and it's something I'll try and write an article about later. Took me a while to get My body to cooperate, but I no longer have to get up at 6 am to drive a boyfriend to work. So instead I stay up til 6 most nights that I work.....(you know, I have to wind down, and eat something and shower and count My money)

The movie Julie Simone and I made did NOT win an AVN award. Sad I know, but still really honoured to have been nominated. I've still kinda been reeling from a bad breakup

January is the anniversary of My mother's death

January is the anniversary of Jim Squires, My tattoo artist and beloved pretty much family member, first year.

January I got realllly really sick with the flu and was out of work for two whole weeks.

January sucked I wanted it to be over before it began

February was supposed to be better.

February is My mothers birthday.

February My friend Rebekah died of an overdose.

She was someone I've known for a decade. She was someone I loved.

She was someone I texted at 2 am, someone who would drive over an hour away just to give Me a ride. Someone who would call out of work and never miss one of My parties ever.

Someone I stayed up til 4 am with listening to Michael Jackson and smoking bowls.

Someone who trusted Me enough to pierce her knees and suspend her. Someone who trusted Me with her very life. Someone who had Me help her propose to her girlfriend.

A member of My body modification and queer communities. Someone who never judged Me.

Someone who loved animals.

Someone who hid her drug use from Me.

Someone who was juuuust making plans to come and visit Me with Sacha Thumper just a few days before her death.

It was like it wasn't even real.

I found out via facebook

which I hate.

Someone posted to her page

“I love you!”

and someone else commented: me too

and I commented “Me three”

I didn't know she was dead

I thought it was just a spontaneous show of love for someone who soooo many people cared for.

It made Me incredibly sad.

I feel sad now just thinking about it.....

My circle is getting smaller and smaller.....

I was really sad. We all were. I had some friends come to the club so we could hug each other and do a shot in her honor.

I planned on seeing all My friends and squeezing them tight at the funeral services.

A few days before I was sick again, and kept getting sicker and sicker. Eventually became aware that I had contracted the coxsackie virus.

Like, who the fuck does that happen to?

5 year olds.

People around a lot of kids.

Not Me.

Well, yah....Me. So I was out of commission, quarantine status covered in a rash contagious with blisters on My feet and hands. My beautiful feet and hands.

I basically sat home and cried.

And cleaned.

I someone suffered three major latex reactions (I am super allergic) all in a short time span with gave Me hives.

Not feeling very sexy, but damn was I so determined to get back to work.

A few weeks into feb another member of the suspension community

Trisha Nelson, tragically lost her life. She was murdered

She was a victim of domestic violence

she was gunned down in cold blood in the middle of a busy intersection

Her family mourns

My hook family mourns.

It hit Me hard. All of it. Being sad, depressed, with a poor immune system, plus the stress of being so broke due to not working two major illnesses and a major latex reaction all in 2 months...

didn't make for quick healing. It was really slow going and I was so tired all the time and had a hard time coming back.

I was so sure march was gonna be better.

It had to be.

It's not fair to have that much sadness in your life all in a row.

March 5^th was My bday and as you know, I generally plan some big huge grand parties and events and bring in feature acts and performers.

Well sorry, too much sickness and sadness.

Besides, it seemed wrong planning a party without Rebekah...she WAS the party, and who else was gonna stay up all night laughing with Me, ya know. Who was gonna make weird faces for the camera? So at the last minute, like with a weeks notice I decided to just have a regular party. Well, regular for Me. No flyers no feature acts, just invited My friends and hoped for a good time.

Well.

A good time was had by all.

After My bday life didn't slow down at all.

Well, the last few blog posts have been rather grim I know. I can't help it, I don't get to dictate the way life unfolds. It's weird and strange and sad and beautiful.

As some of you in the know in the fetish world may have heard, Our circle got even smaller recently with the death of the great

Charles Gatewood

He and his work had a lot to do with baby Bella Domme and the fetishist and artist I was inspired to become. So, that hurts, but I feel happy to have had the opportunity to be affected by him.

Immedietly after his death actually, I was scheduled to go on a northeast adventure with fetish model Morgan Fey. The kind of adventure that would have made Charles Gatewood proud. You've all seen Morgan in My blog for literally YEARS and she's always posing at My parties for photogs and doing burlesque performances etc, but of all the years we've known each other we'd never gotten the chance to do a real shoot together. So naturally I brought this sweet lil dancing queen to HELL. Quite literally

We took a nice long road trip and headed to Brutal Master's dungeon to shoot some really hardcore BDSM.

BrutalMaster is also someone you know about from My blog, and devotees of My website will remember as well. He is a sadist, more so than Me! It's a beautiful thing to behold. Among other things, he is also an excellent photographer/pornographer and chef. We spent the weekend eating. I mean EATING wonderful food!

Meatballs, red sauce, rice balls, pasta, bread, fresh tomato and mozzarella, Corned beef and cabbage homemade soda bread, excellent bagel and lox and capers. Off the hook. It was like coming home to My people. Family. It was nice. And also being with in general and especially cooking with other italians is really good for My soul and I needed that.

Morgan didn't have much experience with BDSM and as such the shoot was a lot more tame than.....than...than what BrutalMaster and I would normally inflict on someone together...ha!

But, her scream is really high pitch and lovely and she is really pretty when she cries. I just love making girls cry. In the best way possible of course.

Morgan found it cathartic and much fun was had by all.

I've been through so much already this year, I am really hoping to at least end it on a good note and be able to move into My dream house sometime soonish....

I have done a very good job of enjoying the summer in the berkshires I have to say. Lots of time spent at lakes, on the mountain, in the woods, at waterfalls, and in the garden. I haven't gotten to really enoy My garden as much as I want to this year because My awful neighbors have been like, smoking cigarettes nonstop on the front porch which then gets blown directly into My house, and doing things like leaving nasty butts all over the front, and leaving a kiddie pool with sludge and slime and mosquitos and a fucking dead squirrel in it for weeks at a time...and they also ripped up all the hastas and morning glories I planted in the front. On purpose. Because they were sick of Me gardening everywhere......so, yah I need to move. I've needed to for a while and this place was only ever meant as a transition. Leaving My husband and My home and belongings and hometown was difficult. I needed to catch My breathe somewhere neutral, and that was 4 years ago. I've caught My breathe, somehow.....and I've been here about 2 years longer than I wanted to....

So: the house hunt is on. I need somewhere I can spread My wings and let My dogs out without fear of unregistered family of pitbulls attacking them. I want to be able to throw My lunge whips outside and sun bathe nude and plant pumpkins without them getting mowed over. I don't want to have to manuever around multiple cars just to leave My own house. I NEED My own space. I deserve My own space and I work goddamn hard enough to afford My own space.

The hunt is on for real. Or at least beginning stages of planning and I've been looking at a lot of places, hoping to find just the right one. I have a pretty specific list in mind of what I want. But I've been here this long and I'll just keep looking til the right one comes.

I HAVE been being super productive this summer tho. I along, with My editor in LA began and finished work on “The Training of Poe” the BDSM erotic documentary I shot last year with Chelsea Poe.

Well, we finished the editing part. I know that in the porn industry a lot of times things get shot and then cut and then printed within a month, but I had no time or desire to do that. I really wanted to take My time and do things My own way. Of course, making a movie all by yourself is really fucking hard! Making and producing and releasing an ADULT movie is even harder.

This week I am staying home to work on the zine so that it's finished at the same time as I have copies of the movie in My hands. I'm not giving an exact date because I have twice and already surpassed it. All I can really say is: I'm doin the best I can! Self producin aint easy! We've had a lot of setbacks due to health, time constraints and My most recent headache: a mac to pc compatibility issue. So, it's being worked on, it's just a little slow. ASAP is the release date. I have to get it off to be authored, then get that back then send that off to have copies made then wait for the copies to get to Me.

I took some very much needed time OFF this september to deal with some family issues and it was very intense. I say that like it's a bad thing...oh sigh, another October blog. But in reality I'm excited. I've managed to do more than one blog a month, am trying REALLY hard to keep up with you guys. I do appreciate all the feedback, fanmail, and even some of the more entertaining hate mail I get. I haven't been keeping up with www.shitMyfanssay.livejournal.com as much as I should, but I DAO have a whole folder of stuff marked for that site. It was a pretty magical experience. Because of the insanity going on in My personal life I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to make it up until a few days beforehand. Plans were very up in the air and kept changing, and finally I just said FUCKIT and drove My shitty car to NJ packed with My dogs, and a bunch of paperwork and My computer and tons of clothes. In september things were really crazy for Me, and I had a “in case shit hits the fan” bag prepacked. I hadn't looked at it in like, a month and that's what I took to NJ with Me. Which made for interesting surprises in wardrobe. Business casual would probably have been best, but I was rocking knee socks and mini skirts and combat boots. So what. I was THAT girl all weekend.

Because of the groups of people I hang out with, ya know: bikers, pornstars, circus folks, tattoo artists, it is not very often that I am the weirdest one in the room. But we were at NYU, lots of academia nerds and well dressed women. I was also on a scholarship there, and there were definitely times when I felt like, that weird pornstar charity case. It was weird! The first few hours and workshops/panels there everyone kept asking Me, “what do you write?” That became the question of the weekend. I never quite knew what to say. I have known Lindsey for a really long time via the bmezine.com scene, back in the days of IAM, which won't mean anything to you unless you were also a part of IAM. So basically, we met because of My friend Shannon Larrat, founder of BME who as many of you know passed away two years ago. We hadn't really hung out solo before but we did that shoot and I had such a good time working with her that I recommended her to Bindercon as a photographer. SO: she got the gig! And we got to roll together to and from NJ and everyday to NYU.

It was really inspiring to be there. So many different women who all did such different things. Everyone was SO welcoming and so nice, by the end of the first day I had totally relaxed. In fact at the mixer that night I started just telling people that I was a sex worker. Guess what, nobody cared.

It was national coming out day the next day anyway, so I figured if there was anywhere I could openly exclaim that I was a part about the sex industry AND still get taken seriously as a writer it was at this conference.

By the second day I had let go of all the bullshit I was holding onto from the drama back home. I was just there, and totally present. And nerdy and taking notes and had met some really wonderful people. I know it's hard for some people to get, that I am rather shy. Because you know, I take My clothes off onstage in front of hundreds of people and I fuck on film. But, I am rather an introvert.

Lindsey and I joked that it was a convention of introverts. How awesome. I mean, EVERYONE was shy! Everyone was nervous and pushing themselves out of their shells. It was really pretty magical.

Everyone was encouraging and open with information.

I have been in the porn industry for so long that I forgot it's not always like that. It's not always cut throat with people wishing for you to fail and stepping on your neck to get ahead. Before you write Me hate mail, I know that isn't true for all of the adult industry, I certainly have developed a lovely little family and community of sex workers who I would be lost without.

For so many years now every time I write something it's, PORNSTAR BELLA VENDETTA WRITES A RECIPE! PORSNSTAR BELLA VENDETTA INTERVIEWS WATAIN! Or whatever the case may be. It was really nice to be Bella, a writer, who was also involved in the adult industry and that was intriguing, instead of defining.

There were so many specific highlights it'd be hard to choose a few to write about, each panel, each connection and each experience was really special to Me. The day after the convention I got some soul crushing really depressing news that put Me into bed all day sad. I was so bummed because I wanted to hold onto the magic of the convention, but I guess with any successful convention of any sort, post convention depression is inevitable. Wasn't a really good convention unless you get super depressed that you're not there anymore. Like every bme event ever.

I also wanted to bring up the strange circle and how I met Lindsey and stuff because this weird thing happened. I brought a notebook with Me to take notes. I took My notebook out during the only class that I actually took notes in: (which was Laura Shins lecture, she's so fucking awesome btw)

and I'm flipping through and I find all these notes about Shannon Larratt and bme.

Right after Shannon had committed suicide I had promised Lux that I would write a piece about him for fleshbot.com. The problem was I didn't stop crying for so long and I was so sad that writing it was really hard. I ended up getting My shit together enough to come up with this piece:

I do have stories. Alot of em, you couldn't even make this shit up. And while, I never wanna turn into the type of person who USED to be a sex worker and now makes a living off of the fact that they USED to be a sex worker....I am finding My focus shifting as I get older.

I very much feel like everything is falling into place, it's all happening for a reason. Being at Bindercon, mourning My friend, visiting My family in Nj after all this insanity and back and forth each day.

It was an intense whirlwind trip to NY. I loved every second of it. Right down to drunkenly flirting with cute pretty boy boxer from the Dominican when Lindsey and I closed the afterparty down

It was the second time I believe ever in My life that I did a NY trip NOT for the purpose of working and making money. The first time was when I went to My photographer Atom Moore's gallery show at Sacred Gallery honoring the life of our brother and member of Rites of Passage Suspension Group, Zidney Fiendish. It featured some really old school photos of Zid performing fire at the very first BellaVendetta.com launch party in NYC 2003. It made Me cry. I didn't work. I just took some days off and hung out with My friends and it was the best Ny trip ever.

So, this time I just focused on being there, being present, not being distracted by the phone, didn't even turn My computer on just looked, listened, wrote, and then ate really REALLY fucking good food with My family!

As such, I sort of failed on the picture front. I'm sorry. I did take a few on My phone, and Lindsey took one drunken selfie of us too:

SO, after Bindercon, I drove back to MA with My chihuahuas and all My stuff. I was home long enough to unpack the car, spend the afternoon in the woods (which is something I MUST do after spending that long in the concrete jungle)

So many people! The palladium was packed. It's one of My favorite venues and I have a lot of great memories of it. I was wearing this really cute skirt that was waiting for Me from My wishlist when I got home from NY. LOVED it!

Again, I pretty much failed with photos. I was too caught up in the moment.

Wendy and I fought our way to a pretty good location, and happened to be next to these guys who were also super into King Diamond and screaming every word.

I have a lot of thoughts about this show. For many years now I have been so spoiled, and going backstage, or in the press box, or even ON stage during some of My most favorite metal acts. I'm a spoiled rotten bitch what can I say. I'm Bella Fuckin Vendetta, I got it like that.

But apparently not like that like that, because I had no pull for a King interview or press pass or anything fancy. I bought My tickets just like all the other little people. They were expensive too!

But, My point is: Metal shows are not very friendly to two little, tiny chicks there by themselves. It's hard to get a good spot. People try to muscle past you and throw you around, dudes who are like eight feet tall will push you aside like a rag doll and stand right the fuck in front of you. There's no chivalry in metal, and there are no gentlemen. What they don't know tho, is that I wear steel toed boots for a reason, and I am not afraid to throw elbows and call people out for being dickheads too. So Wendy and I had a decent view. He played every single song I could have ever wanted to hear. The sound was SO good, the vocals were literally perfect. I was so impressed with all of it. The lame thing about metal shows in 2014 is that everyone and their mother has a damn cell phone held up that they are recording shitty cell phone footage of.

I actually saw all kinds of people I know. It was a wonderful time, I still can't believe how good it was, I want to go see him again!

The next day I awoke and My ear was hurting really, REALLY bad, throbbing in fact. SO I went to check it out, and discovered I had a motherfucking TICK embedded on the ridge of My ear! I tried not to freak out, and had Jersey get it out with tweezers, but it was so swollen she couldn't get it all. I decided I should be safe and went to the ER, where they opened My ear up and got it all out and hurt Me very badly in the process. They also cross contaminated everything and I feared for My life because all I could think about was the germs and how much blood there must be in those rooms no one ever properly cleans up. GROSS. They gave Me antibiotics, and big strong dose of em, and after only like 2 hours of sleep and a trip to the emergency room I finally got some sleep for a little bit.

Luckily I had much better seats for Gwar than King Diamond, I didn't have to fight My way up there cuz I had no real interest in being drenched by fake blood. I'm sorry I'm too old for that. Besides, I'm drenched with real blood enough in my life that that doesn't excite Me too much.

I digress.

So: the day after Gwar (are you still following, I still hadnt been home yet)

I went to Kimber Doll's wedding.

Sure feels pretty fuckin good! October was a crazy month filled with much travel. I spent the last week of Oct house sitting at La Domaine Esemar www.LaDomaine.com the country estate in upstate NY. I was really excited, coming off of a few weeks on the road to be able to relax and unwind there and planned on spending a lot of time outside in the woods. I finally came home the day before halloween and was able to unpack, cook a meal and get a good night's sleep. On Halloween I just wasn't really feelin it this year. I tried. I was so excited to be able to see Mortals, I'd been following their shit ever since I got turned onto them and kept trying to find a show I could go to. But our schedules were always opposite, they were in Boston when I was in NY, they played fucking Northampton on this tour and I missed it! So the venue was not this awesome little venue I loved anymore. It sort of sucked at life. It was freezing. Like, if your bartender is wearing a jacket maybe you might wanna turn the heat on? They shut down the big part of the venue and had this little dumb stage you might see like, in someones basement. In fact I've actually seen better stages in someones basement. The sound was also not awesome. However none of this stopped Mortals from being awesome. I can't wait to go see em somewhere with a stage and sound system to equally match their awesomeness. I had tweeted My way into a last minute interview with them (because I am incapable of doing a simple thing like going to a metal show to just hang out and have fun, I need to somehow weave work into it) and I was really stoked about it. I had lost My lust for metal interviews a long time ago and wasn't sure I'd ever get it back. Meeting bands you love is always sort of tricky. If they suck it's a huge let down. I am here to tell you that Mortals do not suck. In addition to being a badass metal band they are also super smart hilarious and charming women. So charming in fact that I invited them to come stay at My house. It's a rare event I let someone I just met know where I love and come spend the night but...MORTALS! HAHA, and we had fun. I got My interview. Lit by candle all gloomy and whiskey soaked. It was perfect. I THINK I may have found a home for the interview but I don't wanna jinx it so I'm not saying anything yet.

It was really very special for Me because it's the first time I've gotten to speak to students IN Berkshire County. One time I spoke to Berkshire Community College students but it wasn't even IN Berkshire County. So, that felt great. The students were also really bright and had thoughtful questions. The syllabus to the class is so radical, I wish I got to take this class! They had just come back from NYC for a Red Umbrella SWOP event. It's very validating to see sex work talked about as real and legitimate work. It's inspiring to see open minded teachers committed to progressive education. It gets Me amped!

I am back on campus again on the 19^th for a different topic and a different group of students. That one will be really good too I think.

Holidaze are upon us!

I hope everyone had an excellent turkey day. However it is you celebrated. I spent the day at home, snowed in with a hot chick, some good weed and some new records and a mountain of food to prepare.

I went a little bit crazy and cooked and cooked and cooked. Turkey, of course, a gift from The headchef himself....a 27 pounder. Big enough to take over My entire oven. Mashed turnip, mashed potatoes, roasted maple beets, apple pear crisp, pumpkin pie, apple pie, baked brie with figs and maple almonds wrapped in phyllo dough, wheat and white rolls, cranberry sauce, sage apple sausage stuffing, Emrys made a field roast and baked vegan mac and cheese, roasted carrots and potatoes. I also made a chopped sald with candied pecans, pumpkin seeds and apple. Of course cheese and crackers, and pickles, and olives, spicy andouille sausage with sweet mustard.... I mean, just...too much food.

and meant to take a whole bunch more but dude, that was ALOT of cooking for one lil Bgirly, and I needed to just get off My feet and EAT something after a while. Thank goodness little Miss Wendy Michelle was with Me and doing dishes and shoveling snow and being helpful in general. A few close friends came over, and I am thankful for the fact that My circle contains a buncha freaks geeks and weirdos. All of My friends are attractive and intelligent and funny. Win for Me. Listened to good music, over ate, ate some more, watched some tv and passed out on the couch like the three little piggies. My friend Aimie did manage to take SOME photos but mostly after we had devoured and destroyed.

I've spent today recovering, getting My house back in order running errands. Sending off some custom care packages for fans and slaves. I got to go to Beth Israel hospital and speak on a panel with a sex therapist to a bunch of social workers, doctors and therapists. It was so special to Me. So great. To be able to talk to therapists about sex workers need for therapy and trouble in finding sex work positive therapists. Talking about creating ethical pornography, and in helping clients explore their fetishes in safe ways. WOW It was awesome! Thanks so much for having Me, I definitely hope to do that again. After breakfast with a slave and then drove home. Was sort of a whirlwind of a trip, hello Boston goodbye Boston.

I also got the chance to go BACK to Williams College and speak to the kink group, and some kink curious students about BDSM, safe words, consent, being sober, cross contamination and disinfection and some things you can do to keep yourself safe at play parties. What a great group of students! I love it there, looking forward to going back and speaking to that group of kids. I stayed even after the class to talk some more and answered questions and a lot of the kids stayed and that was great too. So thanks again Williams for having Me, I can't wait to see what 2015 brings!

I got to SHOOT quite a bit actually in the last few weeks. I got to do a shoot FINALLY with the fabulous burlesque starlet, Morgan Fey. If you've been paying attention or coming to My parties in western MA the past 5 or 6 years you've seen an awful lot of Morgan. We had yet to actually do an official shoot together tho. It was epic! I mean, pink glitter everywhere! More pink glitter than you can shake a stick at! His wife Martha was kind enough to actually pour the glitter on us! I have some plans for Chelsea. They involve intense slave training and spending a week at House of Vendetta but I am getting ahead of Myself. I still didn't even finish with stuff we DID get to do.

While we were all together, I had a brilliant idea. I was taking over Little Mel's podcast NO BOUNDARIES and so I decided I'd drag Courtney and Chelsea in for the action. After the shoot I had set up for Myself to be able to do a suspension. Because you know, I have to cram as many things in to a NY trip as possible, and going to do just ONE thing seemed sorta crazy, AND I haven't hung in over a fucking YEAR AND I wanted to see a certain few specific friends and folks from Rtes of Passage suspension Group and Anchors Aweigh in NYC.

SO, I had everyone come over special for Me. I had wanted to do a knee suspension, but I didn't think it out very well because I had burlesque and dancing at the stripclub coming up and I needed to be not sore and able to use My knees.SO then I thought about doing a suicide suspension...AGAIN. And then I finally decided on a coma suspension. I've never done one before, and quite honestly it's always scared the shit out of Me. BUT, it's a new season of new beginnings for Me. New porn, new friends, new attitude, new space (more on that later) I've overcome a lot and goddamnit I was overcome that suspension too. And so I did. I owned the fuck out of that coma. Was actually quite comfy and I look forward to doing it again outside.

MY NEW STUDIO SPACE! I am so excited to finally have a dungeon of My own. A place to work and cam and shoot and write in. It's been SO long coming and I am already giddy with the planning of it all!

YAY! It was a really fun night at Maximum Capacity in chicopee MA, what a cool venue, I had never been there before. Live music, some country, some cover bands. My friend Donnell Ellis from Albany Ny came out and did some stand up comedy and then introduced us for our burlesque shows.

Morgan Fey came out and did a solo fan dance. Was so beautiful, I've asked her to do it again at an event I am hosting (more on that later) and then I came out and did a dance to “slow” by Depeche Mode. LOTS OF FUN was had by all! Here's some photos from the event:

Well, the holidaze are finally over, 2014 is finally over

thank goddess! I am glad. I had a lot going on in My personal life so there was many many months of extreme stress. Things are finally starting to level out, and look up even tho with lots of exciting changes!

Because I'm a bitter old bitch and I was sort of in a berkshire county hatin episode. I couldn't really bring Myself to care. But then I saw Goblet live. I felt dumb for not having paid attention because Goblet is really fucking good! Fuck yes to north berkshire county metal. The western MA scene lives on no matter how old and cynical we get!

So that was a crazy night that went into the wee hours of the AM for Me, and required a full day of recovery. BUT I didn't get to chill for too long because soon after was the Crystal Hard Hat Saloon's employee holiday party. I am not an employee, but I do love them over there and the owner is a dear friend. I made a TON of food and more people brought food and there was much food and booze. Lil Miss Wendy Michelle has been helping out and bartending as well so she was also there. We even got to sit on Santas lap, checkit out!

Then there was a day of recovery somewhere in there and then directly after was a holiday cookie swap party at My dear friend's house. She of course went over the top and made these key lime meltaways and brown butter and brown sugar cookies..mmm so good. I made a type of cookie I had never made before. Sugar cookie thumbprints (or knuckle prints rather because when you have long nails you can't really do thumbprints #femmeproblems) and filled them with some incredible imported jams My slave had sent Me for christmas. Spiced cranberry christmas jam and orange and fig marmalade. Alot of lovely ladies came and everyone made multiple dozens of their own cookies.   there was a cookie competition..I FUCKIN WON IT!  Slave jam cookies forever!  There was caramel chocolate melty things and macaroons and cookies. So many cookies. As you can see:

Then there was maybe a day of rest in there but not for too long because I had to go to Club Castaway and work a shift at the stripclub on Christmas Eve! It was quite the experience. I've been going to Colorado to see family the last few years for christmas but I stayed home this year, I had things going on including the above mentioned studio space and I actually wanted to stay home and WORK. I had fun, it was sorta crazy I took some selfies on stage

Guys were mostly really cheap tho and sort of lame. Actually asking for discounts...on christmas eve!

Wendy Michelle was with Me and afterwards we went to the Whateley diner, you know, where I filmed that scene in “Blacklight” and we got these mini tacos I haven't been able to stop thinking about since. Also: Wendy got a hamburger INSIDE of two grilled cheeses. It was epic. I'm still thinkin about that too.

Christmas day I didn't feel much like doing anything. I coulda driven to NJ to see family but I just didnt feel like driving. It was eerily warm outside. So I took the chihuahuas out to the mountain and we spent the day leaping and running in the sunshine and chilling by the river. Then I went home and put pajamas back on and cuddled on the couch with the dogs and fleece blankets and heating pads and watched horror movies and ordered chinese food. Pretty much a perfect day!

I spent the next few days recovering from the insanity and working really hard on My studio space.

My queer friend Chris came over and we painted one of the closets. Yes, queers...actually IN the closet

it was quite funny. I didn't take pics. I failed at pics. I'm sorry I failed so much at photos. I actually thought at one point someone had stolen My camera but I eventually found it. Much rejoicing!

It's one of My new years resolutions actually, to take more photos for the blog.
